FREESPIRIT
performance
FREESPIRIT is a performance that debates themes as affinity, open-mindedness and faith. It intends to create the conditions to generate a moment of sharing and interaction between performers and public. The research focuses on the relationship between movement and sound, in order to investigate the act of vocalising as an extension of the action, in a connection which explores the gesture in its very synthesis, blunt and sharp, able to express its whole potential. The choreography, achieved in collaboration with the dancers, creates a body-voice-sound score, which triggers a sequence of events towards a condition of lightness with actions that release irregular and intense energies, in a crescendo punctuated by movement and breath.
