ID
interactive dance
Human-machine interaction takes place through an action / reaction principle that regulates defined disciplines and behaviors. A process very similar to the game not intended as pure entertainment but as a form of knowledge, exploration, access to new cognitive dimensions. The ID show assimilates and combines various interactive game schemes, transforming the actions of the performers into an allegory of existence. The dancers express an essential bond and a sense of belonging characteristic of a “community”. Once the playful-computer scheme has been automated, the protagonists become “players”, confusing their reality as individuals with the metaphorical dimension of the game.
The interactive system
The dancer relates to space through the eye of a camera that communicates movement to an interactive system consisting of 3 software with different functions: INCROM for detecting the position, speed, acceleration and dimension in space through the color , AUXY max / msp for processing the audio part and RESOLUME for processing the images. This interactive architecture transforms the scenic space into a color-sensitive area.
